Recently, executives from TAS Insulation Solutions (TAS) visited and conducted a site inspection at Formosa Organic Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., located in Bangpoo Industrial Estate. The visit marked the beginning of a collaborative project to enhance acid fume protection within the facility using TECO Flexshield PU Foam, a high-performance protective coating developed by TAS. A formal agreement was signed to officially kick off the project.
This initiative aims to strengthen structural safety within the chemical manufacturing plant by preventing corrosion caused by acid fumes and harsh chemical exposure. Formosa has selected TECO Flexshield PU Foam for application in the following areas:
– Metal sheet roofing covering over 7,000 meters (approximately 5,320 square meters)
– Interior structures, including steel purlins and trusses, covering over 12,000 meters
