The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) through the National Energy Technology Center (NTech) organized a contract signing ceremony to transfer technology for acrylonitrile-butadiene-structured solar cell panels. Polystyrene The solar panels on the back layer are made of aluminum composite and lightweight solar panels for easy installation for T.A.S. Corporation Co., Ltd. with Dr. Sumitra Jararotkul. Director of the National Energy Technology Center (NTech), Mr. Thanakorn Siriwattanalert Managing Director of T.A.S. Corporation Company Limited joined in signing this contract. Along with the company visited the operations of the solar cell technology research team, with Dr. Amornrat Limmanee, head of the solar cell technology research team, and the research team giving a welcome and informative lecture.
There are 3 solar panel structures that transfer technology this time. It has unique characteristics that are different from general solar panels.
- The solar cell panel is made of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene. It is lightweight and can bend to a certain extent. Can be applied as a solar awning or can be other parts of the building
- The solar panels on the back layer are aluminum composite. Can be installed on a metal roof or as a building wall without a supporting structure. The background color of the panel can be changed.
- Lightweight solar panels for easy installation In addition to the weight and ease of installation on metal sheet roofs, This panel has semi-light-transmitting properties. Can be applied as a roof for agricultural greenhouses.
All 3 research results will be further developed to lead to commercial production.
